Norton Museum Holds Free Autism-Friendly Art Workshop Sunday in West Palm Beach
The Norton Museum of Art's free accessible family workshop runs Sunday, Nov. 1, with sessions from 1 to 2 p.m. or 3 to 4 p.m., interactive gallery time and art-making led by staff trained to lead programs for people with autism.

The Norton Museum of Art in West Palm Beach holds its free Autism Friendly Art Workshop on Sunday, Nov. 1, a monthly accessible program for the whole family that pairs interactive time in the gallery with art-making in the classroom. Sessions run from 1 to 2 p.m. or 3 to 4 p.m., and all participating staff are trained to lead programs for people with autism, according to the program listing.
The workshop is free and is offered for students in kindergarten through grade 6 or grades 7 through 12. Registration is required in advance and space is limited; walk-ins are welcome on the day of the program if tickets remain, the listing says.
Families who miss Sunday's session have three more chances this season: the workshop returns Nov. 22, Dec. 6 and Dec. 20, on the same Sunday schedule at the museum in West Palm Beach.
