South Florida Monday: Heat Open West Coast Trip at the Lakers, Panthers Host the Red Wings
Monday, Nov. 2 gives Palm Beach County fans a double bill: the Florida Panthers host Detroit at 7 p.m. ET in Sunrise, and the Miami Heat start a three-game California swing at the Los Angeles Lakers at 10 p.m. ET.

South Florida's two winter teams share Monday night, Nov. 2. The Florida Panthers are home first, hosting the Detroit Red Wings at 7 p.m. ET at Amerant Bank Arena in Sunrise, on ESPN+. The Panthers then stay home for the Chicago Blackhawks on Wednesday, Nov. 4, according to the team's schedule listings.
Three hours later, the Miami Heat open a three-game California trip at the Los Angeles Lakers, tipping off at 10 p.m. ET at Crypto.com Arena. The trip continues at the LA Clippers on Wednesday, Nov. 4 and at the Golden State Warriors on Thursday, Nov. 5, before Miami heads on to Sacramento and Utah — a five-game road stretch that keeps the Heat away from the Kaseya Center until Nov. 13.
The Panthers come into Monday off a 5-2 home win over the Winnipeg Jets in which Anton Lundell recorded a hat trick, and the Heat off a 145-125 home win over the Indiana Pacers — both results already reported by this station. Monday tests whether either team can carry home form into a new week: Florida with home ice in hand, Miami three time zones from home.
