Christina Lambert Wraps Four Policy Roundtables in West Palm Beach Mayor Bid, With Resident Portal Open Until November 20

The District 5 commissioner, running for the open mayor's seat, took resident input on 14 issues across four October roundtables — and residents who missed them can still submit ideas online until Nov. 20, ahead of a Nov. 10 campaign kickoff and the March 9, 2027 election.

WEST PALM BEACH — Christina Lambert has wrapped four public roundtables covering 14 issues as she runs for West Palm Beach mayor, according to a Nov. 1 report based on Florida Politics coverage. Each roundtable in October grouped three or four topics and brought residents, neighborhood leaders and local experts together, and her campaign has also opened an online portal for residents to submit ideas on the same topics.

The West Palm Beach mayoral seat is open because Mayor Keith James is term-limited, and four candidates have filed, the report said. Lambert is a West Palm Beach City Commissioner who served eight years and four terms representing District 5 and is now a candidate for mayor; she won her last City Commission race in 2024 with 72% of the vote. Her campaign says the resident input will shape a policy agenda detailed enough to act on from day one, though the weight the campaign will give to the portal input has not been specified, the report noted.

Residents who did not attend the roundtables can still submit ideas through the online portal until Nov. 20. The formal campaign kickoff is planned for Nov. 10, and the mayoral election follows on March 9, 2027, with a runoff on March 23, 2027 if no candidate wins a majority.
