Palm Beach County Schools: Clocks Fall Back Sunday and There Is No School on Election Day
Daylight saving time ends at 2 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 1, Palm Beach County students have Tuesday, Nov. 3, off for Election Day, and the district calendar also lists Veterans Day and Thanksgiving breaks in November.

Families in the School District of Palm Beach County have several calendar changes to track as October turns to November, according to Palm Beach Post reporting read in full this cycle. The first is the end of daylight saving time at 2 a.m. on Sunday, Nov. 1, when clocks fall back to 1 a.m., so alarms set for school on Monday morning need to be adjusted as well.
The second is Election Day. There is no school on Tuesday, Nov. 3, as voters go to the polls for the general election, the Post reported. Parents planning the week should treat Monday, Nov. 2, as a normal school day and Tuesday as the day off.
Two more November breaks follow on the district calendar reported by the Post. School is out again on Wednesday, Nov. 11, for Veterans Day, and Thanksgiving break runs from Monday, Nov. 23, through Friday, Nov. 27, in the final full week of November.
