Winter Wonderland Opens at The Ben in Downtown West Palm Beach: Real Ice, Under the Palms, Through January 3
South Florida's only real outdoor ice-skating rink returned for its third year on Sunday, Nov. 1, with a larger rink on the Intracoastal — $30 for adults, $15 for children 4 to 10, and free entry to the Winter Tree Forest and Holiday Market.

WEST PALM BEACH — Winter Wonderland opened Sunday, Nov. 1, at The Ben in downtown West Palm Beach, bringing South Florida's only real outdoor ice-skating experience back for a third year, the hotel's event page says. The rink — larger this year — sits on the waterfront at 251 N. Narcissus Ave. and runs through Jan. 3, 2027, with skating tickets redeemable through Jan. 4. The ice is 100% real frozen water, built with Ice America, and a ticket includes entry and skate rental for one public skate session, though blackout dates may apply for private events and holidays.
The rink runs daily from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m., with admission at $30 for adults and $15 for children ages 4 to 10, according to the season announcement. Skating is the only ticketed activity: entry to the Winter Tree Forest and Holiday Market is free for everyone, The Palm Beaches' listing says. Around the rink, the season brings holiday-themed cocktails, seasonal treats, candy, popcorn and festive retail, Palm Beach Illustrated reported.
The Ben is also selling a 'Stay, Skate & Celebrate' package for the season — an exclusive Marriott Bonvoy member rate with four complimentary skating admissions, a hot chocolate welcome amenity, and a complimentary room upgrade and late checkout, the magazine reported. Last season's Winter Wonderland welcomed more than 30,000 skaters.
