The Fairgrounds Card Expo takes over the Shiner Law Group Expo Center at the South Florida Fairgrounds, 9067 Southern Boulevard in West Palm Beach, for Halloween weekend, running Saturday and Sunday, Oct. 31-Nov. 1, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. with free entry, according to the fairgrounds event listing read by this desk. Organizers bill it as Florida's largest free-entry trading card event.
Saturday's program includes a $2,000 Halloween costume contest, according to the listing, and the weekend also features celebrity appearances and athlete and voice-actor signatures sponsored by Palm Beach Autographs and JAG Sports Marketing.
The expo gives collectors a second, indoor Halloween-weekend option in West Palm Beach alongside the outdoor GreenMarket on Clematis Street Saturday morning and the county's Halloween events Saturday night.
