In his post, John Washington III wrote: "The system is broken. Politicians chase our votes, then our money, and forget us."
John Washington III said the pattern repeats after every election: candidates promise to fight for voters, then return to business as usual once they are in office. "They say 'fight for you,' then go back to business as usual," he wrote. He said change will not come from the same pattern, and he presented himself as the alternative to it.
"This doesn't change until the people stand with someone who actually works for them. I'm that candidate," John Washington III wrote. "Stand with me. Let's take our power back."
