Palm Beach County Professionals on the Move, Week of Nov. 2: a Fourth-Generation Law Firm, a New Symphony Chair and a West Palm Beach CEO (West Palm Beach Watch News)

A West Palm Beach law firm became a fourth-generation practice in the Palm Beach Post's professionals-on-the-move file for the week of Nov. 2. Lesser, Landy, Smith & Siegel, founded in West Palm Beach in 1927, admitted Lillian J. Lesser to The Florida Bar; she is the great-granddaughter of founder Joseph Lesser and the eldest daughter of managing partner Gary Lesser, was sworn in by Palm Beach County Circuit Court Judge Carolyn Bell, and will practice personal injury, car accidents, cruise ship injuries and contingency business litigation in the firm's West Palm Beach office. In education, the Education Foundation of Palm Beach County added John L. Perez, a J.P. Morgan executive director and market executive with more than 15 years supporting local businesses, to its board of directors.

In real estate and the arts, Compass in West Palm Beach welcomed Mia Morrison, who brings more than 22 years in Palm Beach-area luxury real estate, to the sales team for Olara Residences, Savanna's 275-residence waterfront development at 1919 N. Flagler Drive, slated for completion in 2028. The Young Friends of Palm Beach Symphony selected Sarah Beth McCaffrey — a classically trained violinist with a PhD in neuroscience from the University of Arizona — as chair of its executive committee for the 2026-2027 season, supporting the symphony's education and outreach programs. Hunters Run Country Club in Boynton Beach named Jonathan Feiler, a Culinary Institute of America graduate and certified sommelier with more than 20 years in luxury hospitality, as director of food and beverage.

Two more West Palm Beach moves close the file. Visium, the West Palm Beach-based technology company working on Far-UVC indoor air and surface protection, appointed Jason DiBona as chief executive officer as it enters its next growth phase. And Greenberg Traurig added shareholder Allison Oasis Kahn as chair of its West Palm Beach labor and employment practice; Kahn joins from Carlton Fields, where she spent more than two decades representing employers statewide. The file also noted criminal defense attorney Robert A. Gordon opening a new firm in Jupiter after beginning his career as a public defender in the 15th Judicial Circuit.
