Palm Beach Monday Traffic: South Ocean Boulevard Closed Until Further Notice, Cocoanut Row Nightwork Runs to November 5
The Town of Palm Beach's alert page keeps South Ocean Boulevard shut between South County Road and Southern Boulevard with no reopening date, while sidewalk work brings moving lane closures on Atlantic Avenue and Dunbar Road and nightwork closes part of Cocoanut Row through Thursday.

PALM BEACH — South Ocean Boulevard (SR A1A) remains closed between South County Road and Southern Boulevard (SR 80), and the closure will stay in effect until further notice, the Town of Palm Beach says on its public alerts page. Checkpoint procedures, adjusted bridge opening schedules and temporary marine security zones are in place around the closure, and the Town coordinates the mandated closures with the U.S. Secret Service, notifying residents in advance of scheduled closures and again when the road reopens.
Elsewhere on the island for the Monday commute, the Town's November alerts list moving temporary lane closures for sidewalk restoration on Atlantic Avenue and on Dunbar Road, both between North County Road and Bradley Place, with flaggers in place. Bahama Lane between North Lake Way and North Ocean Boulevard is limited to local traffic only, and Cocoanut Row between Royal Poinciana and Pendleton is under nightwork from November 1 through November 5.
On the mainland, the county's other long closure also holds into Monday: Military Trail between 10th Avenue North and Purdy Lane/Alameda Drive is closed until further notice after Sunday's Learjet crash, with 10th Avenue North and Purdy Lane/Alameda Drive as the named east-west alternatives and Haverhill Road and Kirk Road for north-south travel. Drivers crossing between the island and West Palm Beach should build the bridge schedules and both closures into Monday's timing.
