WEST PALM BEACH — Monday opens at 77 degrees and overcast in the station's live weather feed, with a feels-like read of 76.9 — the first morning after the wettest weekend of the fall in Palm Beach County. The county's Flood Watch, carried by the National Weather Service in Miami for Palm Beach, Broward and Miami-Dade, runs through 3 p.m. Monday, with scattered totals of 3 to 5 inches possible through Monday and isolated amounts of 5 to 7; the Coastal Flood Advisory for coastal Palm Beach County runs until 7 p.m. Monday.

The feed's Monday numbers have eased from the overnight file: a high of 79.6 degrees, a low of 69.5, a rain-shower code and a precipitation chance down to 49% from 59%. A Small Craft Advisory runs until 10 a.m. Tuesday and a high rip current risk through Tuesday evening. Election Day, Tuesday, still carries a thunderstorm code while polls are open 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. — a high of 79.1, a low of 75.9 and a 52% precipitation chance — and Wednesday keeps a thunderstorm code at 82.9 degrees and 46%.

After that the week dries in a straight line, on the feed's own numbers: Thursday 82.8 degrees at 16%, Friday the warmest day of the stretch at 87.3 degrees and 8%, Saturday 81.2 at 4%, and next Sunday 83.6 at 15%. Monday's drive still runs on wet pavement and on the county's standing crash-site closure of Military Trail — the Weather Desk's next scheduled file is at 17:00 CT.
